After months of being under suspicion concerning\u00a0the Russian government\u2019s intervention on his behalf, Trump\u00a0can now turn the tables and accuse Obama of intervening on Clinton\u2019s behalf. Isn\u2019t that convenient? Where people have been starting to see this growing Russian scandal as the biggest political\u00a0imbroglio\u00a0since Watergate, Trump and his right-wing minions will now deflect attention to this story in the hopes that their followers will treat it as the \u201creal scandal\u201d and if they are lucky, make everyone else\u2019s heads explode. It is a bold misdirection and while it\u2019s fatuous in the extreme, don\u2019t assume that it won\u2019t be effective.<\/p>\n
